Shanghai railway station, 2002

As I wandered through the streets, I found myself gravitating towards the station. It was a massive building, with dozens of platforms stretching out in every direction. I watched as trains arrived and departed, each one a symbol of adventure and possibility. It was a bustling morning at Shanghai Station, 2002. Passengers were rushing to and fro, lugging suitcases behind them.

These photos were taken during my trip to Shanghai in 2002, using Contax S2 and Yashica T5D cameras, equipped with Carl Zeiss Sonnar 135mm F2.8 and Carl Zeiss Distagon 28mm F2.8 lenses. The films used are AGFA APX 100 and Kodak Tmax 400.
