My favorite b&w film was AGFA APX 100 about 30 years ago when I was a student. Love the tone and sharpness & fine grain. Altough it's not easy to find apx 400 (It's AP 400 I remembered) at that moment, the APX film never disappointed me as time goes by. Contax 137ma + Carl
